Research Task : Similar artists

Some similar artists to Jo Birchall I would say are artists like Katie Melua, Natasha Bedingfield and Kate Nash. Her cover for the digipack would be a shot of her alone with/or the couple kissing.

For the website Katie Melua and Duffys website are both good and have a look i think may work.

Animatic Evaluation

I think our animatic is ok, in that when people watched it they got the general idea, a boy and a girl fall in love, with our artist performing in some scenes. However, are drawings were very poor and none of us are very artistic with a pen! Some confusion was caused as a few members of the class thought that our artist was the one falling in love as the girl falling in love and the artist looked quite similar in the drawings. I think that our editing was quite good and we managed to fit it all together well, with only a few mess ups. Our first scene is our artist turning on the projector. We didn't make that clear in the edit but we will make sure it is fixed for our real thing. I enjoyed our editing a lot as it is something I am considering doing when I leave Hurtwood. Overall i think it was successful but i think drawing was our main issue!

With your permission the track would be used as the accompaniment to a short form video that is made purely for assessment purposes and will have no commercial usage. The video will be viewed only by members of the school community and the assessor of the examination board.
